A wholesome and healthy English breakfast(oxymoron alert)

and then we walk to the Dennis Severs House(DSH) where we hook up with our old buddies, Charlie and Ruth. The DSH is a reconstructed 18th century townhouse-lots of knick knacks and objets d'art not to mention the odd bon mot!
Then it turns out to be beer o'clock and lunchtime. The casual food scene in London has much improved since I lived here-now some food is actually edible!

We spend the rest of the afternoon(and my accumulated savings) buying cold weather gear for our foray into the frozen North; we are told we need many layers so we leave the outdoor shop looking like sumo wrestlers-eat your heart out Nanook!

A brief snooze and then it is out for dinner at the Ellory restaurant with Charlie,Ruth, Claire and Eric.
