Today we have booked the fat tyre bike tour of Berlin, but first an observation: the East Germans stockpiled huge quantities of coarse grade sand paper (probably necessary for interrogations) and not knowing what to do with this windfall following reunification, the government had it dyed white, put into rolls and placed them beside every toilet in Berlin, especially for the tourists!
Anyway, the bike tour proceeds uneventfully though certain sections of the ride prove to be quite taxing.
