This morning we find the Leopold Museum open and we wander through the Egon Schiele exhibition-we like his stuff a lot though it may not be to everybody's taste.
After lunch we make our way down to the banks of the Danube canal and meet a new relative-the cousin of my cousin-as they say: any cousin of my cousin is my cousin(old Viennese proverb).
The restaurant we chose has stunning views of Vienna
and the food was fine as well. Cousin Hanna had many fascinating anecdotes about life in Vienna during WW2.
After lunch we went for lunch at Treszniewski
following which we had lunch at the Viennese sausage stand(here they are called sausage stands)
following which we went to the Hotel Sacher for coffee and sacher torte.
In the evening we see Don Giovanni at Vienna opera
after which we revisit a sausage stand.
